***Special note: Normally we don't comment on the going's on during our shoots, but this time we needed to make an exception. The excellent and kind coaches of Marshall permitted us in the locker room after the Simeon semi-final victory. We had requested to do a head shot of Patrick Beverley. Upon approaching Patrick, of course he agreed to do the photo, but absolutely insisted that a team photo must follow. This humble and considerate player would make it known that it's the team, not just him that makes the Marshall success happen. He ran around the locker room calling everyone together and you never saw 10 or so guys move so fast and throw jerseys and shorts on so as to scrunch in a corner and take a picture! Right after the photo, and as reported by the Sun-Times, the players clasped hands as one. Marshalls players and coaches are top class and congratulations to head coach Lamont Bryant as he's back on top again in the city.
